IGNITE is IPI's annual conference held at their national headquarters in San Antonio, TX. There are over 300 Financial Advisors from across the country that attend to gain actionable sales ideas, network with their peers, earn CE credit and listen to motivational keynote speakers.
The theme was "ignite" as in "IGNITE your practice". I incorporated a single flame as the tittle of the "i" as well as different shades of red in the background to emulate fire. I used a hard lined fractal background to add depth and texture with clean crisp white logos, text and graphics to contrast the richness of the reds.

I've used a lot of different terms over the years to describe myself both professionally and personally and I have found that one word encompasses it all: creative. I am simply a creative. I creatively express myself in so many worlds: digital, pen to paper, photography, painting, interior, sketching, hand lettering, cooking, etc. I'm truly a creative at heart.
Off-site corporate retreat for executive's team building exercise. They were given the task splitting up into small groups, each of which was responsible for cooking a different course for dinner (Appetizer, Entree, etc.) Each group was given a small book which consisted of the location for dinner, ingredients to buy, and the recipe for their specific course. This was a very fun project to work on. I edited the images, typeset, wire-o bound and packaged all the different books for the teams.
Surprise invite for an 80th birthday party.
I tried to keep the focus on the photograph of Alf (the birthday boy) at 18 years old by equally balancing it against the typeset block of party details. The photo was originally black and white but I added a sepia tone to it to bring some warmth to the invite. Many people were coming from out of town so I drew a simple vector map of the location highlighting some of the important details on a separate accommodations card. They had a great turn out for the party and he was pleasantly surprised!
